Hi everyone. My name is yasmine it is the Arabic word for jasmine. I have a problem with potty training my 2 year (and 2 months) baby girl. we have been training for 1 month and half now. she only said she wants to pee after the first week for just one day. but after that she kept peeing in her panties. I am desperate. What should I do?

Those pull ups that turn cold when they pee can help to signal her. But like I said, just take it slow. Potty training takes months usually. After my son was fully potty trained, he reverted back to pooping in his pants for a few months. It took time, but he got right back on track. They are learning control over their own bodies, if you think of it....it is the one thing we as parents cannot control. It is their turn for power....and if you decide to fight it, it will be a power struggle you won't win.

I agree with Sherri, take your time. It is going to be frustrating for the both of you if you push something she is not fully ready for. Try again in a month. It really does take time and patience.

Nothing it sounds like she is not ready yet. Hold off for a week or two and try again. She is still young. If you keep pushing it is only going to delay things.

Why are you pushing so hard all you are accomplishing is making yourself miserable. Hold off for a week or two try again if it doesn't work hold off for another week or two and try again. She will get it eventually.
