Potty training my daughter who is almost 3yrs old!

We have been trying everything to potty train my daughter who will be 3 later this month. She only goes pee on the potty when we tell her to and it has become a battle. She will not poop on the potty. She has maybe like 3 times in the past year and they were initiated by her. When it is time for her to poop she hides under the table or behind the curtains or in her room to do. These behaviors lead me to believe that she knows when she has to pee and poop and it completely capable of holding it in time to reach the potty. She has become so defiant about this. She loves school buses so we tell her she can't go on one and go to school until she uses the potty. When she has pooped on the potty we have rewarded her very well with things like dolls or treats. We promise all kinds of things and she seems excited but then still doesn't show any effort. The other day after pooping in her pants she said "I don't wanna be a big girl." Any advice would be helpful! We had bought her underwear and we let her wear them and she loves them, but then will go and poop and pee in them without a care in the world! One time I even cut them off of her when she had pooped in them and threw them out. She cried for a while, but then went back to her old ways.

#1 take away any diapers and no matter how many accidents she has she needs to be in underwear 100% of the time other than at bedtime. You can not give in because she is having accidents. Also send her to the bathroom every 20mins many kids will not initiate on their own for a while.

Does she have sisters by chance? The reason I ask is that really helped me with my daughters. When my second daughter was born I told my oldest that only babies wore diapers and she didn't like that, she was potty trained a week after that. Now my youngest wants to be like big sissy and she pottys like her.I really believe they just have to want to do it.And when they are ready they will...I wish you lots of luck :)
