Any advice on methods used to potty train twin boys? Mine are just over two, and I know it's something I need to start thinking about. But I don't know where to begin! Seems one may be more "ready" than the other...

If one of them seems ready, you definitely need to jump on that bandwagon! My boys both went to day care, so the teachers would line everyone up to go at about 1-2 hour intervals. There was a weird sort of peer pressure to it -- not mean or bullying, but the fact that some of the other kids could do it helped the younger ones who were trying to get the hang of it.

Hopefully, the one twin who is ready will set an example for the other, and they'll be a little competitive about who has fewer accidents.

My boys never showed any interest in a potty chair. They always opted for the real toilet. And the sticker /reward system *does* seem to work very well.

I have an older daughter, so I have potty trained her. I really just need advice on how to do two at once. She was so easy to train, but the thought of doing two boys at once is just overwhelming.

I don't have twins, but what I did with my son was a reward chart. Everytime he went pee on the potty he got 1 sticker and 2 stickers for going poop. When he got 10 stickers we went to the store and he got a matchbox car. I also put him in underwear (that he picked out) and told him not to get Elmo (or whoever was on them) wet or they would be sad. I tried using a potty, but he preferred the seat on our toilet. I started potty training a few months before he turned 3. It took a few weeks before he was fully potty trained. Good Luck!
