Wants some potty training tips for my 26 month old, VERY strong willed little girl. She likes to do everything her way. I have a 9 year old daughter who was very easy to train. My 2 year old will sit on the potty but I cant get her to recognize when to sit on the potty. Diapers are pretty absorbent these days and she never gets diaper rash. Im tired of diapers, done with them.

Wait until she's ready. Make sure she knows what to do and where to do it. Offer her encouragement and assistance (if she wants/needs it).... and leave it up to her.

That's how 'I' potty trained my extremely stubborn son, at least. 'I' didn't. Granted, he wasn't clean and dry through the day and night until about 2 years 9 months, BUT that's the same age his older sisters were finally clean and dry just during the day.... and I started 'training' them at 18 months!

I know that she understands verbally what to do. She just doesnt get the physical part yet. She likes to decide when its time Like a challenge for me to figure out what might work. Were so close!
