Potty Training. When do you know its time?

My daughter is 17months old, and she follows me into the bathroom every time and she will watch me while I go. She has even tried to wipe me, and flush the toilet. She has even tried taking off her diaper on several occasions.

Is she ready to be potty trained? If so any suggestions on how I should go about this?

If I were you.... I'd get her a little potty chair and have it around. Talk about it, but let her be completely in charge of when/if she uses it. Letting her follow you into the bathroom and talking about what's going on is really all you need to do unless she asks for help in going.

That's how 'I' potty trained my son, at least. WAY easier and more effective than when I actively potty trained his sisters.
