My daughter was the same way at 19 months!! We bought the cute potty, the cute panties, got a potty chart so she could put stickers on it, etc....she's now 30months (2 1/2 years) and is still not potty trained!! However, I did have a baby 3 months ago....but I've been told over and over again that when she is ready she will just do it! My own Mother told me, that she is a girl and us girls are stubborn and do things on our own terms...which is true! So Give it time, just keep encouraging her and asking if needs to go potty (or whatever you call it) She will do! There are very few kids that end up in kindergarten not going on the potty! They know when we are stressed about things, so don't get stressed about this just keep doing what you're doing and she'll do it when she's ready!! You can't make anyone do something if they don't want to!

I dont think you are starting too early! With my daughter I put dish liquid in the tolit and when she pottied it made bubbles,I work with preschool children and I have hard many ideas like food coloring, offered M&M's let them pick out own "special" panties
