That sounds fine. There are many full term babies who don't walk until they are well over a year. Anywhere up to 18 months is considered not to be of concern. If you adjust the age for your baby having been 3 months early, then you shouldn't really be expecting him to walk yet - most 9 month olds are not walking.

I had two premature sons. One was born at 31 weeks one was born at 35 weeks. My pediatrician always told me for milestones such as walking do not use their actual age, correct it (like Jodi said). and then always know they will probably do things on the later edge of the scale For example: if a baby should be walking at 1 year to 15 months, don't expect your little one to walk much before 18 months...Just an example not a timeline.
Hang in there! my boys are now 11 and 8 and they catch up VERY fast!!
