Okay question. I haven't had a period in over eighteen weeks. I had all the symptoms and took numerous pregnancy tests and they all came back negative. Even took two blood tests and two scans all negative. I bought a Doppler and can hear the placenta. So I don't know what to think. Oh and a week before my period started, I had a dark brown discharge but period never started. Doctors are baffled. What do you guys think.

How old are you? There are several things that can cause your symptoms, some quite serious

Ok. You have tons of negative tests, including ultrasounds and blood tests, you are not pregnant, and you need to investigate what else could be causing your symptoms

'very positive result'.
Hi Tamiko, that is an interesting choice of words you have used. Pregnancy tests are either positive or negative (can also be a false positive or false negative).
I am going to guess by your addition of the word, 'very', that you are pleased you are pregnant - congratulations to you and your man.

You would need to get further tests done to see how far along you are. You could have fallen pregnant at any time in the last 18 weeks.

UPDATE: Took a test today and got a very positive result. I don't know but I have so much to be thankful for.

Have you been trying for a baby? Sometimes the urge to want a child is so extreme that the body actually starts to think it is pregnant.

Have you been under a lot of stress or have you lost a lot of weight?
Those things can affect your cycle.

If you have had 2 ultrasounds and they have nothing I doubt you could hear anything on a doppler.
Have the doctors done tests for things other than pregnancy?
I doubt you are pregnant so maybe it's time to be looking into other reasons.
