I gave birth via C-section in october 2011 and after 7 months, got pregnant with my 2nd child and gave birth in february 2013, then 7 months thereafter, i took the pregnancy test and it showed a positive result. I fear that my uterus hasn't totally healed yet and now i'm pregnant again. Is it okay to continue with this pregnancy? What are the risks? Thanks!

I agree that this is one to discuss with your doctor. Your doctor will be able to give you a check up and look over the scar from your last c-section. It certainly isn't ideal, but it may be okay.

You really should consult your OBGYN with this. My first two are as far apart as yours, and my second birth went fine, smoother than the first actually. And in the beginning I was healing much more quickly after my second, but after a couple weeks my healing process slowed significantly and in the end it took MUCH longer to fully heal, and ended up being more painful in the long run. I'm not sure what the risks would have been had I gotten pregnant a third time during that long healing process, but for me I don't think it would have been very safe. But I have no idea what your birth experiences or healing processes have been like, nor do I know any details about your body or medical history that would factor into the risk for you personally. This is something you really should not trust for answers from a public forum of strangers. Your OB is the only person who can give an educated and credible answer to this.
