Pregnancy after 35

I had my youngest at 36, but before her, I had two miscarriages. Over 35, miscarriages are more common, as eggs start to deteriorate. However, that doesn't mean that you will necessarily experience another one, although it could take a little longer to get pregnant these days. I believe there are tests now to determine the number and health of the eggs you have left!! So if you wanted to go to that extent you could, but at this stage, I wouldn't say that the miscarriage meant you would have trouble with getting pregnant again. Why not give it a try, and if in 6 months you still aren't pregnant, have a chat to your doctor about checking the status of your fertility.

when I wanted to get pregnant at 40 my ob-gyn said my history of pregnancies was my best indicator for another healthy pregnancy. And my pregnancies with my two boys went full term and were fine. I also read that miscarriages are more common than you may think. So don't be afraid. Good luck.
