Pregnancy after the age of 35

Thanks Jodi for putting my mind at ease! its like the clock ticking all the time. Wish to be little younger now! was pregnant but miscarried a week back...now things are delayed for about good 3-4 months which makes me only older from here

Because your fertility begins to decline after 35. Don't try to deliberately delay having children until after 35, because your fertility is in rapid decline and you may not be successful. There is also greater risk of miscarriage (I had 2 before I had my youngest), complications and various other things (such as downs syndrome) but overall, you are still perfectly capable of a good chance to carry a healthy baby if it happens to be that you are 35 when you get pregnant. You are also perfectly capable of being a wonderful parent, and probably even more resilient to cope with anything complicated that may occur.
