Hi Jodi,

I never really kept tract of my period after I had my tubes tied, i didn't think i had to..But I took the test thursday morning figuring I hadn't had one for around 37-38 days..It came back positive before I had even put the stick down on the counter..but from what I have read not everyone will come back positive this early on in a pregnancy..If you think you are get to your doctors is the best I can tell you, it is not something to sit around and wait to see what happens

Thank you so much for the hope everyone!!! I am still freaking out. but I called the gynocologist today and have an appointment monday morning even if it's just to talk to someone who may or may not be able to give me some answers...I am still in complete shock..I am experience cramp like feelings and everything I have read says if its on one side or the other that may be signs of ectopic but my "crampy feeling" is in the middle not on one side or the other, except some pain near my right hip....

My levels for the blood test at emerg yesterday were low but I'm wondering if that could be because I caught the pregnancy so early?

I was crampy initially and it lasted for several weeks...but every twinge, ache, pain I had I worried...my levels initially were very low I was a 22.1 when I first had the blood test...but it went up each time I had my blood drawn. So hopefully monday they will be able to give you some news :)

I will keep you in my prayers that its a normal pregnancy and not eptopic.. I was just wondering how soon you got a positive test? I am 4 weeks late and have all the symptoms of pregnancy but keep getting negative results.. By LMP Im 7 weeks today by Conception Im 5 weeks today.... I got my tubes clamped a year ago so just wondering if I am pregnant again or not..

I had my tubes tied on August 30, 2011 and I am currently 11 weeks pregnant. When we discovered that I was pregnant my OB/GYN had me come in for blood test two days apart for several weeks to make sure my levels were going up...they started a 22.1...then were 331.20 and jumped to 31,464...that was their indicator that it was a healthy pregnancy...they told me that generally in a tubal pregnancy the levels will rise slowly or not at all and mine were rising rapidly. We were not able to see where the baby was located until around 6 weeks on the ultrasound and even then we were only able to see the gestational sac and not the baby. I went back a week later and we were able to see the heartbeat and the baby (but it was very tiny) but so far so good. I hope it all works out for you :)

I delivered a young lady who went through the same thing. Everything turned out fine and it was a miracle. Good luck

I always thought mine worked, it's been 4 years..(my son turned 4 in january) and I have never had anything like this, not even a scare...and now it's totally mind blowing...I guess it's a waiting game now until I see the gynocologist and she tells me if it ectopic or a normal pregnancy..

I have heard this could happen. My mom, myself and one of my sisters had a tubal. I felt it was the safest permanent fix. If this happens to me, I will get another tubal and have my husband get a vasectomy.

I would be to. Sorry I am not much of a comfort, I have not had this experience. What did they say were the options?

I have to wait for the gyno to call me next week..They tried to do an ultra sound and then a internal ultra sound and said it was too early to tell....

This is a very rare thing to happen. When is your appointment? The biggest fear is definitely ectopic pregnancy.
