Much depends on the type of incision you have of your uterus (not your belly) as too whether or not you can even consider a VBAC. Women who have had vertical uterine incisions rather than horizontal; will need to have repeat c-sections 99% of the time. Start by talking to your doctor and go from there. I understand the desire to have a vaginal birth, but the most important goal is a healthy mom and healthy baby.

Ask your doctor. You may or may not be a good candidate for a VBAC. I waited 3 years after my c section before trying to get pregnant to ensure I would hopefully not have a rutpured uterus. I had a successful VBAC, but it was 6 years ago. They are being discouraged more and more. You will have to find a doctor/midwives willing to give you the chance, but it all depends on your previous surgery, your health, the babies health, and so much more.

They say to wait at least 12 months after a c section before falling pregnant. You will be monitored and I suggest you find a doctor willing to let you try a V-Bac.
It does depend why you had the c section in the first place though.
If you are worried about your health you should ALWAYS see your doctor instead of relying on a bunch of strangers on the internet.
