Hi everyone, this is my first pregnancy and I'm 33 weeks along going on 34 on Sunday. My son was diagnosed with ventriculmegaly at 20 weeks and he measured 11mm. Well, I had to see a specialist and I didn't like the outcome of what he had to say, honestly but I should be thankful he was sugar coating anything.
The measurement of my sons left ventricul wasn't getting any better with the following appointments, but with the 3rd apt the doctor said that the amount of fluid looked the same.
From what I just found out my sons ventriculmegaly prevented the top of his brain and the front of his brain to develop significantly. I'm not sure how to react because the doctor specifically told me that he doesn't think the baby will be able to breath on his own..
I'm measuring perfect for the growth amount for my little guy, but I just want to know if anyone else has experienced anything like this and if there is any hope
