Hi Moms, I had my tubes Clamped 8 years ago. I have never skipped my period. This month I did. I am now 2weeks late. However I did take a HPT from the dollar store, and it was negative. Could I be pregnant, and it's just not showing up?? Has this happened to anyone??

Generally, yes, it probably is too early for changes, but not unheard of. Perhaps if you do another test and it is still negative, go and see your doctor.

It's possible to get pregnant when you have had your tubes clamped. There is a 1 in about 200 failure rate, so yes, it happens. It may also have been too soon for the test to be positive. Maybe wait a few days and try again. However, depending on how old you are, it could also just be some hormonal changes.....
