Pregnant and my husband brought home a large breed puppy

Before my husband brought home a dog we had a conversation ( at the time I didn't know he was getting the dog the next day) where he signed a contract stating I would not be responsible for the care and maintenance of the pet. I explained how I thought it was too much work but he didn't listen. In the month since the puppy has been in the house, I spend $500 on the vet and fell down the stairs trying to take him out. Whenever I ask the kids (ages 17 and 10) or my husband to clean up after it they complain and agrue. We have two Chihuahuas who are now also peeing and pooping all over the house too. I teach Special ED and my job is very stressful. My husband drives a bus and isn't home much. Additionally, when he is off he sleeps and spends hours at the gym. I am six months pregnant. I talked to him but I don't know what to do. He isn't taking care of the puppy and it's a pitbull. I already hurt myself trying to housebreak it. The animal is very sweet but he is teething; bites me, my clothes and furniture. I am really losing respect for my husband. We just moved in to a The place and it's getting destroyed. We have only been married a year. This feels like at this rate I will be a single!?😭The stress is bad. I don't want to stress my baby.

It really does sound like there are marital issues, especially if you have to sign a contract with your own husband about a dog.

Personally, if my family left me looking after the pets they chose to have, and they didn't spend time training them, I'd look at rehoming them. Give them an ultimatum.

Sounds like you two have lots of martial issues. Maybe getting marriage counseling would be good.
