Hi Adriene!
Well, first of all, congratulations! And it's totally understandable you're feeling a mix of emotions right now. It seems like this pregnancy might have been a bit of a surprise, but you're still excited for the baby. And the situation you're facing with your daughter doesn't sound unusual. Just like this news is an adjustment for you, it will be for your daughter as well. Perhaps she felt she would always be the baby of the family and now has to realize that won't be the case. However, I think if you can just keep doing what you're doing-assure her of your love for her and let her know the baby won't change that. Maybe even consider trying to do some special days or times out with her to, hopefully, get her to open up about what she's feeling. But I think time will make a big difference here, and I'm sure she'll come around once she sees her precious little brother or sister. So, hang in there and know someone out there is praying for you!
