New here. I just found out that I am pregnant. I am 39 years old, overweight and on medication for hypothyrpoid and High Blood Pressure. I am not all that afraid of the actual pregnancy. I have plans to exercise daily and eat the right foods and take as much care of myself as I can.
What I am TERRIFIED about is Postpartum Hemorrhaging. I have 2 other children, both sons, with both I experienced this. It was extremely scary. The second birth was worse than the the first and I almost had to have a D&C a few hours after giving birth. I am really really scared that I am going to die or something after or during giving birth. I am going to talk to my doctor, but I cant even make an appointment until Monday and I really dont have anyone to talk to about this now! I am so scared.
I was wondering if there are any other women out there who have experienced PPH and is there anything I can do to help prevent this from happening again. This pregnancy wasnt planned, but its also not unwanted, so I am happy...just really scared.
