Hi all,
I was just hoping for some advise or to see if anyone has had similar experiences
first of all my background is that I have previously had 6 miscarriages 2 at around 12 weeks and 3 between 4 and 6 weeks and one ectopic which miscarried itself. After loads of tests I was told I have no problems then after the next three miscarriages had more tests and they say I have lupus/ antiphosphilid antibodies. So I am now on pregnancy number seven under the care of a haematologist, rhumatologist and obstetrician, (still waiting to see the obstetrical) I am taking clexane injections and aspirin daily in the hope of preventing a miscarriage. I am currently just over 8 weeks but I have been spotting brown for just over three weeks now, one time I saw a bit of red. Had slight cramping in back and the odd time sharp pains. When I first started the spotting I had blood work done and levels were around 4 and a half thousand they took more and said they had risen, they didn't tell me what to just said all appeared fine, had a scan and they said I was just 5 weeks and it had a slow heartbeat but that was fine for the age (I dated that I should have been over 6 weeks at that point) they did internal said cervix was closed but I do have blood. Then they told me they didn't need to see me again as it had heartbeat but here I am still spotting and wondering. Doctor booked me in early for the midwife, who was totally useless didn't do anything not even book me in and told me if I want a scan to ring epu and ask myself, anyway got appointment with midwife tomorrow to actually book me in.previously one of my miscarriages was exactly the same as this spotting all the way through, saw heartbeat at 6 and half weeks, went for 12 week scan and it was a missed miscarriage. I've explained this to all the doctors in the hope of getting more regular scans but no one seems interested. So really this is what I am thinking is happening again. Sorry for the very long winded story, just wondered what other peoples experiences of brown spotting are and if any had good outcomes or anyone with lupus has had successful pregnancies?
