ok firstly im terrified because i already have 2 young girls 4.5 and 3 and they have listening issues in trying to get out of them before the twins arrive and secondly its only me and my husband im all alone living in north cyprus every1 speaks turkish and unfortunately i cant so have no friends my family are all over the place so dont see them much my mum is coming out around the due date but my dr has already informed me they may come early and im having c section so my mum probably wont be around till the twins are about a month old anyway. im not worried bout household stuff my husband is lovely enough to help out and will cook if he has to its just everything to do with 2 babies at the same time 2 at different times is hard enough.

I was the same when I found out I was having twins (girls now 2 yrs old) the best advice I can offer you is get them into a routine as soon as you get home cause if you can get them down at the same time you can rest and believe me you'll need rest, demand feeding doesnt work when there is 2 or atleast it didn't for me so i feed them every 3-4 hours and at the same time are you thinking of bf them I tried but it was very hard so I expressed and bottlefeed so they still got the goodness. get them to learn how to selfsettle as soon as possibly so you dont have to rock 2 babies to sleep cause lets face it you only have one set of hands take each day as it comes and ask for help even if it a simply task like getting someone to cook meals you can freeze so dinner is simple. most importantly look after yourself aswell.

What exactly are you terrified of? Being the mother of twins?
I would recommend finding a support group. Mothers of Multiples, MOPS, something of that sort. Getting help, for at least the first couple of weeks, with the household stuff. cooking, cleaning, errands. Don't be afraid to ask for help!
As far as your pregnancy goes, Eat lots of protein. Many twins are born premature, and diets high in protein have shown to allow twin pregnancies to carry longer, often to term. Drink lots of water too.
Good luck and relax!
