Hello, Im Bre.

I just wanted to share my story with those who are interested.

Ive decided not to tell any family or anyone about my pregnancy because last time I did that It just ended in a miscarriage. I just need to tell someone!!

In April 2011 I had a natural miscarriage @ 12 wks. It was really hard to have to wait for the baby to pass, but once it did, I felt relieved it was over. My partner and I have been trying to have baby #2 since October 2010.

I just recently had a positive pregnancy test this month. On Monday I felt so sick and threw up two or three times. (which Ive never done with another pregnancy)

Then Yesterday I had a spot of blood. I thought ''oh great, its happening again'' there wasnt any more blood. I thought that was weird. Then this morning at 2am. I got up because I felt something in my undies. I went to the bathroom and there was a lot of blood and even passed a small clot.I didnt have any cramps or back pain like I did with my miscarriage in April. I thought maybe because Im only a few weeks pregnant, I wouldnt have any cramping.

It was hard to go to sleep after that because I thought for sure I miscarried.

I already had an appt this morning for my 1st ultra sound and went in telling the nurse that I miscarried this mornign.

The ultra sound tech was kinda confused because my cervix was still closed and said that if I miscarried, it would have still been open. I thought, this is so strange!!!

Waiting for the doctor to come in to tell me what is going on, just felt like forever.

She came in and said you're pregnant with TWINS!!!

I just started crying!! I have never felt so confused, but was so happy too!! My doc said the bleeding had stopped which was good and there is only old brown blood which she said was normal.

Im just shocked! I cannot believe this!! I go in again in 2 wks for another ultra sound to hear the heart beat.

I will just keep praying that they are both okay!! I really hope they both make it! Im just trying to stay positive :)

omg. That is awesome. My sister-in-law's twins are now 6 mnths and she also had quit a bit of bleeding throughout. Docs advice to her was, dont do too much physical work, rest. And also getting upset would sometimes cause some spotting. Good luck and keep us up to date. Especially when they get born.Kaz

I already asked my doc to check my lvls and she said they were okay. She asked me if I wanted to be put on the progestron pills and said that I probably need more bc there are two.
Ive been taking the progestron pills for a few days now.
:)
thanks for the tip

Bre one other thing that I was thinking about that you could ask your doctor about as well. See if he can check your progestron levels. That was my problem my levels would bottom out and that was the cause of all my miscarriages. If that is it. Then once a week you would go in for a shot of progestron. No ill effects. It was just something I was thinking about and it was the last thing my doctors tried with me and I finally had my second child then they just keep coming.LOL

I never imagined having twins, although my 1st cousins are twins.
Im very happy with the news!
My doc put me on bed rest for the next two weeks until my 8wk u/s.
I didnt see their heart beat yet, so I will be praying they are both okay!!
