My twins were born almost 14 years ago... and at that time they told me there was an 80% chance of survival at 28 weeks (I started having issues at 24 weeks). 12 weeks of modified bed rest and I ended up being induced at 37 weeks.

Take it easy and talk to your doctor about any concerns.

IMO, if you are having any discomfort, that your doctor has not tole you to expect, call and get checked out. It may be nothing, but better to go get monitored for a few hours and be sure.

A twin pregnancy is considered full-term at 37 weeks. But anytime after 32 weeks should be enough to ensure survival with few complications. Babies will usually "drop" or sit lower in the abdomen about 2-4 weeks before birth. This is usually more pressure than pain. The pain in your side may be from them changing position in a different way, or some other issue. You should talk to your doctor about the pain you're experiencing.
