Hi :).. I had my son 5weeks early, he was put straight into the neo-natal unit into an incubator. My boyfriend and myself thought we would have him home within 48hours. That wasn't the case. He was transferred to another hospital the night he was born. 2Days old he had to go through major surgery, repairing a blockage of the esophagus going down into the stomach which wasn't attached. This was all of 5weeks ago. Hes home now, recovered within 2weeks. BUT... From yesterday he has had a stuffy nose and a rattly chest. Not taking his feeds and i've noticed his breathing is sort of different. The surgeons who performed his surgery had told me and my partner to go straight to pediatrics if he had a slight cold. I don't want to 'waste time' of staff in the hospital, therefore i'm not sure what to do.. Could someone give me advise or even be able to tell me is this an infection he has or just a normal cold??
