Hi...just after some advice on cervical stitches. I lost a baby at 22wks 1day. I had been having a bit of back pain two days prior to giving birth to my little girl and i was urinated frequently with some pain but just put it down a UTI. I woke up at 2.30am bleeding and in pain. When i stood up it immediately made the pain very severe to the point where i nearly couldn't stand. When i arrived at hospital the doctors did a ultrasound and said the baby was fine. My pain got worst and worst and at this stage i was still unaware that they were labour pains. The doctors performed an internal and said they could see the membranes we petruding and that i was labouring. i was in labour for 14 hours. The doctors couldnt still cant tell me what happend. If my placenta came away from my uterus? Or an incompetent cervix? All my test results came back negative for any infections ( placenta, urine, bloods and all swabs). I am now 12 weeks pregnant and my OB/GYN wants to put a cerclage in. Has anyone experienced anything similar?
