My Daughter is 12 and she has OCD and Anorexia - unless it is the OCD working overtime. she has been so hard to deal with especially after meals... like tantrums.. and breaking things.. OMG, sometimes I am not sure how I am going to make it through all this. after reading some of your posts, I do feel better... I am anxious to see Her Dr so we can talk about some medications she can take.... as Much as I hate doing that, I think she will be much happier, at least I hope so..

If she truly has an eating disorder, she may require inpatient treatment. There are many dual diagnosis facilities for teens with more than one diagnosis. Meds are often part of the therapy but teaching her coping mechanism to deal with anxiety that comes with OCD will prove most helpful.

Just take it one step at a time. Support your daughter the best that you can. Seeing a therapist for you might be helpful also, to learn how to cope with this properly and maybe learn how to handle these issues.

Is she currently in therapy? That would help a great deal.
