Please help, this is my 3rd pregnancy but will only be my second child, and I'm having extreme pubic pain to the point of making me cry....i don't know what to do i've done a little research and it seems like dealing with it is the most common answer...but i have a toddler to run after and it's increasing in difficulty. Any suggestions are welcome please please please.

I would go back to the doctor and demand that he see you now. If it is impeding your ability to look after your toddler - it needs to be sorted.

I had SPD and it was 10 times worse with my second child, and it started earlier as well. Physio can help.

I know what you are saying as I have been there. You need to go to the doctors and ask to be fitted with a belly belt because as the baby grows the pain does get worse. There is a technical name for this but basically the ligaments that hold the pelvis together are stretching causing the pelvis to move hence the pain is normally when you are walking. All I can tell you is that the minute you have the baby the pain eases and after a couple of days it is gone for good. The belt supports the weight of the baby and takes the pressure off the pelvis and does help alot but the only way to stop the pain is to sit still, which is not ideal with another child to look after. Make the call to the doctor today because you need to be refered to the hospital.
