Kayla, it's not your problem if people have heard this same story from a million other woman. This is you and you are looking for support from us and that is exactly what you should get.

Kayla McGinty like YES seriously. Its not a birth control method. You want statistics, either search it or call your doctor, but your chances, as I said, are like VERY GOOD that you'll end up pregnant "AGAIN".

I've known that this wasn't a birth control method for the last 30 years. Its extremely frustrating that people still think it's really a valid method.

Kayla: Do you realize we see heaps of these posts every day. The amount of woman who ask on here if they are pregnant or what their chances are and go on to tell us when they had sex and when their last period was, is ridiculous.
Yes, my comment probably sounded like it was a smartass comment but it's the truth.
Do your research on reliable BC if you don't want to fall pregnant, simple.

I think that from now on its best not to use the pull out method but I will say its not like everyone gets pregnant with that method, it really does depend on other factors, like was he drinking or smoking anything to effect his spread count n how close u r to ovulation or being fertile. In whole hearted honesty I think that sex is just a risk in general there r even cases where sometimes a few of those little guys make it thur the condom n someone ends up pregnant.

Hi. Your percentage is about 50% 50%. My husband and I used the pull out method for 2 years. We weren't actually trying not to get prego but it eventually happened.. My advice is to talk to him and see where he stands on if you do happen to get pregnant with that method, then that would determine if you want to take your chances on pulling out or using a condom.

How are we supposed to know your body Kayla?
If you don't want another baby then don't have sex around ovulation or use protection.
A bunch of women around the world have no idea if you are pregnant and the chances that you are is very high.
Wait until your period is due and if it doesn't arrive, take a test. That's a lot more accurate than asking us on the internet.

Haley, that's because the only 100% positive way not to get pregnant is to not have sex.

Everything has a failure rate, including vasectomy and tubal ligation.

Lol I know that I was saying people get pregnant from using birth control pills condoms iuds etc which are way more effective and pulling out is less effective so there is a higher chance.

Hayley, there is a higher chance of getting pregnant while using the pull out method especially if you are not keeping track of your ovulation, rather than using some form of protection. Maybe you were not using the pill properly. Who knows. Using protection is more of a means of avoiding pregnancy than no protection at all. The pull out is no protection at all.

But there is always some chance of getting pregnant with my daughter I got pregnant while on birth control, which is supposed to be way more effective then the pull out method so If you definitely don't want to get pregnant I'd consider a different method.

Me and my husband have been using the pull out method for a little over a year and haven't gotten pregnant yet but we know that there is still a high chance we just aren't necessarily trying or preventing.

GOOD GRIEF!!!

I really wish someone would QUIT perpetuating the myth that if a male removes his penis prior to full ejaculation, a pregnancy will be prevented.

PULL OUT IS NOT A BIRTH CONTROL METHOD. It's a cop out by a man who doesn't want to wear a condom.

The chances of you being pregnant after that are VERY GOOD.

Sperm still leaks out of the penis when erect, so if penetrating without a condom, yes you can get pregnant.

Not sure how you got pregnant the first time, but the pull out method is not really all that reliable. If you don't want to get pregnant (which I assume you don't if you are practicing the pull out method) you may want to consider something a little more reliable.
