Now that it is summer and it stays lighter later, do you still make them go to bed at 8 even though the sun is still out.

I don't, in hopes they will sleep in. Fat chance. I am not a morning person . . . . or a night person...... and I don't do real well during the day. I know. I do better when they are sleeping ;)

I push bedtime back by an hour in the summer time (after school's out) mainly because she doesn't have to get up for school, not because the sun's still up. She gets her weekend bedtime for the duration of summer holidays.

I try to push my kid's bedtime but it never works. He is always ready for bed at 645-7 and if he stays up later it won't make him sleep in he will either wake up during the night or earlier in the morning and be really aggro until we put him in bed.

I was thinking that they could stay up until THEY conked out, but I don't think I can stay up that late. LOL

Winter's probably worse over there! It's only getting down to 2 degrees but still, that's cold for Queensland lol

I honestly can't wait until summer. It's the middle of winter here lol so it's cold until 12 pm then starts getting cold again at 4.

Fat chance is right. I could have hurt someone tonight.

NEITHER kid would go to bed. Both wanted to go for a walk, it was 90 today so the mosquitoes were rampant. My LO has horrible reactions to bites, and so does my older one just not as bad.

So the next thing I know I'm carrying my 2yo with her baby and baby stroller because she has decided she didn't want to walk anymore. It's boiling out and I still have high heels on from an interview.
Yeah super freakin fun.
So no it doesn't matter, I'm sure they'll be up at the crack of arse.
