Hi, I am in australia and currently pregnant with my fourth baby.
The car I have has enough seats to accommodate our new arrival, but will significantly limit the space i have available for a pram. I am looking at getting a quinny zapp xtra.
Here in australia it is a three wheeled model, and you have to remove the seat to fold the pram up. I have seen a USA model online with four wheels, that is able to be folded with the seat still attached to the frame.
I was wondering if anyone out there knows if the adaptors used to attach a maxi cosi car seat to a pram frame in the USA would be the same as they are here? We have different requirements for car seats, so I'm hoping to find out if they would be the same, so that I might be able to order my preferred pram overseas, but still meet the legal safey requirements for the car seat here. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it very much. I have already contacted the australian distributor and they have refused to answer my questions since I would be looking at getting a stroller that technically doesn't meet australian standards.
