cause a bunch of racist fucknuts got there first and ruined it for everyone. You can't blame other people for responding naturally to what the skinheads and kkk did.
I AM proud of my Irish roots, and my Canadian culture, but that doesn't have THAT much to do with the colour of my skin. I'm sure there are people living in Ireland that are brown and far more Irish than I...and part of being proud of my Canadian culture is diversity.
It's one thing to be proud of your culture...but as a whole, the white "race" has not been so nice to people who are not white...you know that little slavery mess...genocide...segregation...skin-heads...lynchings...systemic racism...etc. (I think you get the idea).
So, be proud of whatever you are proud of, but also humbled by the shit you're not so proud of...that's my humble opinion.

Who is proud of their race? None of us, and I mean nobody, is full anything, so I guess we can all be proud of the human race ... well, on some issues.
Proud of women that came before me and made a positive difference, proud of family that came before me and made a positive difference .... I can kind of see that, but proud of the fact that I am White … or specifically, German, Polish, Danish, French, Russian, Chippewa, Jewish, and God only know what all … not so much.
Should I be allowed??? How can a person be allowed or not allowed a feeling?
If you are white or brown and proud of that, be proud of that ... I just don't see it as an accomplishment on my part, so not something to be proud of ... more of a genetic fluke
