Let me just say that any parent cosleeping with your child is tempting fate and playing with your child's life, and there is NO SAFE WAY TO COSLEEP WITH YOUR CHILD.. I have been a mother of three and daycare provider licensed for 28 years and buried an infant recently due to the mother cosleeping with her four month old little girl and she rolled over and suffocated her own child at home at night in her sleep. Also, being a daycare provider, parents you are doing nothing but creating major problems for your child and provider when you begin daycare as all states have the same laws and infants under 18 months are required to sleep in a crib or pack nplay and I will not even take a child if the parents are cosleeping at home with the child because they think that the crib is a foreign object and never nap and then are tired all day and it becomes very stressful and hard to change their sleeping habits once established at home that they do not have a warm body next to them. Children of cosleeping parents are always tired and cranky too and they learn no independence or self reliance or self soothing at all. There are no excuses and no responses at all that designate that a parent should ever cosleep with their child and again....... take heed it is unsafe and your child when it goes to daycare is way too much too handle because of the problem you have created as a parent.
