Reading texts with boyfriend and his family not approving

Hello, I'm new to this group and desperate to connect. My 17 year old daughter is dating a 15 year old boy. The age makes this complicated, so I'm checking texts, of which they are both aware. The boyfriend's parents think I'm untrustworthy of the kids, but I disagree. The boyfriend's mother got angry with me and deleted me from all correspondence via the Internet which whe has the right to do, but seems immature. I've offered to talk to her but she doesn't respond. Advice? Need more info? I'd love your prayers and encouragement. Thank you and God be with you all, MDB

I would just leave it.
In reality, the relationship possibly won't last so is there any point in trying to change her mind on something you want to keep an eye on?
The other Mother can have her own opinions but as long as the teens know you are going to check then it's all good.
In my opinion, social media has killed our ability to discuss thing in person anymore. It's so much easier to delete/unfriend someone than to actually discuss problems. If she doesn't want to talk to you then just drop it. Each to their own, she can be a sour woman if she wants.

Yeah... just let it go. Her annoyance at YOUR parenting decision is not your problem... it's hers.
