i am 33 weeks pregnant so always needing the loo. i have a 2 year old son and everytime i leave the room he unplugs my phone and lamp and starts pulling them around the room. i only have to be gone 1 min and he has done it. i have yelled at him, put him in the bad corner, took things from him but he never seems to stop. its not like i can move them out of his reach because he can get to the plug easily. most importantly its dangerous, and i also dont want him to break my things. what should i do?

He's 2 years old and exploring his surroundings. I would suggest you take him with you rather than attempt to make this a learning experience. You can't really teach him not to do something AFTER the fact you really need to catch him at it.

Take him with you? Leave him with a snack or activity he loves ... this is a game, including how you put it all back, so the best thing to do is come up with a better game. Have an activity he will love, that he only gets while you are out of the room for a few minutes....

is there a reason he can't go with you when you leave the room? he's 2 they do stuff like that.sounds like he's a busy boy and needs to be supervised.

Put electrical plug protectors over the plugs so he cant get to them to pull them out. Google "child safety electrical products" or something like that. You can buy them online, at hardware stores and baby stores. They also make them to go over powerboards and extension cords.
