So I lost my baby this weekend. I feel a bit numb and am scared it will happen again. We desperately want another baby. Has anyone had a miscarriage after a healthy pregnancy and gone on to have another healthy pregnancy?

Thanks Kayla, I'm sorry that you too have been through this. I'm so glad you went on to have successful pregnancies. I'm hoping I do too. I think although it is common it isn't something you want to think will happen to you! At least I can read your post and feel hopeful x

I am so sorry for your loss. I had one healthy pregnancy, followed by one miscarriage at 6 weeks, then went on to have 2 more healthy pregnancies. My miscarriage sounds similar to yours. One night I knew something wasn't right, I was bleeding heavily, with intense cramps. Had a scan and blood test the next evening and it was confirmed. Although it is a very heartbreaking feeling, it is possible to go on to have healthy pregnancies and babies after.

Thanks Angela, my husband and I have talked it through. I think we will be fine I'm just ever so worried about the next pregnancy. I know I can have a baby as I have had one, which makes us extremely lucky I know. I just couldn't bare to go through all this again. I knew it wasn't right and started bleeding Thursday. Had a scan Friday morning and baby was fine and well. Sat I started bleeding heavily and it was confirmed today. I'm lucky apparently as it was natural and complete. If you don't mind me asking, how was your?

I am very sorry for your lost, but the answer to your question No not after a pregnancy, but I have had a miscarriage, and have gotten pregnant about a month after the misscarriage
