Its been just about a week now since me and my sons father decided to break up. We were together for the past 3 & 1/2 years. We broke up for all the right reasons.. the relationship got ugly it was verbally abusive by him and I was constantly walking on eggshells with him he has a very bad temper and is just not an easy person to deal with. He would just walk out on us for a night and come back the next day and blame it on me as to why he would leave that just isnt normal....But he loves our son and is devasted that he isnt seeing him everyday and its making me feel awful to the point where im just in hysterics. He is staying at one of his friends house until he gets his own place in Two weeks. I just feel so bad.... is that normal? I mean he was a jerk to me majority of the time. Anyone any advice or anything at all to get me through this.

Our marriage was over for years. We were married 6 years and it was a mess.

You will miss the feeling of having a family for a while, I still do and it's been almost a year.

Well, you just got rid of a jerk that didn't deserve you.....hang in there it get's easier. My ex was the same way. DO NOT let him manipulate you. Go to friend of the court to get child support ordered and visitation times.

It's only been a week, are you truly done??
