my son is 7 1/2 months old and i just noticed trhat he has red spots on his legs. theyre not in a bunch they are just kinda scattered around. and he has one on his face. im not sure what it is. my MIL says it could be a allergic reaction to a juice i gave him. it was prune/apple juice because he has been having trouble passing loose stools. so we have given that to him the last 2 days a few times. but im not sure what i should do. should i just wait it out until monday or what?

hmmm could he possibly be teething? teething makes them prone to all sorts of ailments, including rashes, trouble sleeping, and fussiness.

my son mystereiously broke out in a very bad rash all over his head and face...it spread down his neck, arms, and legs. a few days before the rash he had a fever of 103 degrees. the doctors weren't sure what it was, the fever was well controlled with tylenol, and the rash went away after 24 hours of benadryl around the clock. we never figured out what caused it (they said it didn't appear to be food related, and it definitely was not roseola) but a week later one of his top teeth poked through

it definitely would not hurt to call and speak to a nurse though. they'll ask you all sorts of questions and give an opinion if they think you should be concerned.

My 8 month old has red spots too all over the back of his legs. I noticed it this morning, after having a full night of fever and fussiness. He has been teething and I can tell his upper teeth are starting to come out. I'm going in to check with his doctor just in case it might be something else. But I have a feeling it's teething.

do they seem to be bothering him?

if they aren't bothering him, and he has no other symptoms, i would probably wait it out. if they get worse or he starts to develop a fever, i'd give urgent care a call if your doctors office is closed, and ask to speak to a nurse about it.
