my 9 month old is refusing food too, she got her 2 bottom teeth a few weeks ago, and now the top one. I still try to offer her food, she won't eat from the spoon cuz of her teeth pain. but I give her tiny pasta, small cubes of fruit, or soft veggies. even if she doesn't eat It she is still learning how to pick up the food. plus it's important to get babies use to the routine of meal time. she will eat once the teeth are up and not hurting.

Hi there, what if she could perhaps go into early stages of teething? I know girls usually teeth much sooner than boys?

Hope she's feeling better now and eating again?

As long as she is not refusing her breast milk or formula... she'll be fine. Is she refusing to eat ANYTHING (including her infant appropriate milk)... or is she just refusing 'food'?

Maybe the consistency is too thick or lumpy? What sort of food are you giving her? She will get enough nutrition from nursing or formula for now so keep trying. Is she gagging, spitting it out? More information will help.
