MOST HELPFUL POSTS

It'd probably be helpful if you could explain what country you are in and at least a summary of your circumstances.
Also, I don't know if you're aware or not, but speaking with all capitals on the internet is akin to shouting and usually frowned upon in net etiquette.
The best thing in my opinion if in a custody battle. Make sure you have a good lawyer and make sure you can dig up the dirt on the other person who is trying to get the child. If you however represent yourself, Make sure you have law codes of things you want to bring up that you are aloud. Some lawyers will bring up your past and if you try to bring up the other persons past to put them down, they won't consider it. Don;t sound right. My sister went through this. She represented herself and didn't have anything to back her up. Make sure you have everything you can think of that will downgrade the other person in every way possible. Is social service involved? If so, do they have anything on you trying to state you are an abuse or neglected parent to child. If they could not get you up on charges, then that will help in court.
