Now she could latch properly and even suckle but my milk supply went highly down.. So i couldnt continuosly nurse her too as her demand is far more than what i can produce. Can i now use domperidone and what else i could do to relactate?

Hi Shilpa,

He is on NAN Pro1. It says that content of this formula almost equals to mothers milk but minus antibodies.

Hi Shilpa,

Myself a mother of 5 month old baby, I have never produced enough milk for my baby. And now he is not more interested on breast as he is totally formula feed baby :(

For re-lactation you should google Dr. Newmen's protocol, even I am also thinking to start it.

Before starting any medication should consult your GYN.

I have also taken Domperidone for 10 days and it works. But please ask your GYN for that because sometime it may cause some side effects.

The best time period for a mother to produce enough milk is 1-3 month of baby so you have good time now. Some mothers feel reduction of milk after 3 month but don't worry. You should pump each and after 2 hours for a week then increase time (3-4 hours). you can take rest in night (pump each and after 3-4 hours).
You can also take methi seeds thrice in a day (spoonful).
You should also google how much amount of methis seeds to consume in a day.
Take daliya regularly in your meal.

Hope so it work for you.

I was not aware all these facts when my baby was 1 month old.

All the Best
