my daughter who has now turned 13 ,i thought spankings would become less , her attitude and arguing back talk ,are getting worse , she thinks she adult but behaviour tells me she still a little girl , hope it gets better

I agree. It is not unusual for teens to fight for independence and to test the limits. Clear effective consequences are your best recourse. Spankings at this age are not teaching her anything.

Why would you still be spanking a teenager? Spanking should have been phased out for more age appropriate consequences a good 5-8 years ago.

Totally agree with Michelle. Stop hitting her and provide her with appropriate boundaries and consequences. What else have you tried other than hitting her?

Well obviously spankings aren't working (probably because spanking is abuse) so you need to find a more effective form of discipline.
She's not an adult and she needs to have boundaries.
What else have you tried?
