Right i broke up with my partner and we were not married if he has signed the birth certificate can he go agienst me see for example my eldest wants her ears pierced twice but i wont let her could he go against me does he have the right

sounds like you need to make a parental responsibilities agreement in court with specific stipulations. I'd try sitting down together and talking it through, make an agreement you can both adhere to and then formalize it in court.

Taking him to court will do nothing. On the birth certificate or not as long as he is the father and you do not have sole custody granted by the courts or he has had his parental rights striped by the courts then he has equal say.

With him being her father, yes he has the right to give his permission. You could always make your daughter take the earrings out but as long as she has parental consent, they will do it.
