Rocking toddler and baby to sleep

My daughter will be two in May and I still rock her to sleep. I know a lot of people who disagree with this but I love the special bonding time. She sleeps through the night and has since she was two weeks old. She is a great sleeper and I really don't want to stop rocking her to sleep but I now have a two month old (who also sleeps really well.) I'm trying to do the same things with her as I did with my two year old but I'm worried that I won't be able to keep up with rocking both of them to sleep as my newborn gets older. I want to do the baby wearing thing with my newborn but then I worry she won't get good sleep if she's always around my noisy two year old when she's sleeping. I'm looking for helpful advice, suggestions and support from other moms who rock their children to sleep and/or wear their babies. I just can't decide what is best for my girls.

kangaroo babies....that is what mine were lol. I love rocking them to sleep and carrying them with me. the truth of the matter is the little one will become very accustom to her surroundings, including big sister. i tried very hard not to make everything silent when they slept and they all slept very well and still do. my rocking chair is big enough to hold me and at least 2 little ones. before long your 2 year old will most likely be finding other things to do in fact you may want to start reading her to sleep...Present it to her like she is moving up in the world....becoming a big girl...explain to her that the baby needs to be rocked to sleep just like she did when she was a the same time i would ease into it maybe by reading in the rocking chair. and just let her know that when she is ready the routine can change. that way it does not create friction between them.. they grow so fast...good luck and God bless!
