SAHM wants to go back to work, doesn't want to leave child in daycare.

HI! I have been a SAHM for two years now. I love staying with my daughter and helping her learn. I really think she benefits from it. Me on the other hand, I have been needing more to focus on. I just got a great job offer from my former boss that is full time. I would LOVE to take this position if I didn't feel so bad leaving my daughter. I feel like I will be abandoning her and she will start going downhill. I do feel like this would be great for my self-esteem and my marriage though. My MIL can watch my daughter two days a week and I need care for the other three. I struggle with separation anxiety and can not leave her in a daycare. Any suggestions? Should I take the job offer?

Hire a sitter to come to your home or find a private home daycare. Many children have full time working parents and do just fine. Is there any flexibility with your job? Could you work three long days, or could you work from home two days a week?
