Salt already in food.

My son is 11 months old and eats whatever we do, I am just wondering if its ok for him to have foods that already contain salt, for example if we have pasta I usually use the jars of sauce like Dolmio but give him the tiniest amount possible, I never add salt to my cooking, my hubby always adds it afterwards so I don't see the point in adding it to cooking.

I am not so sure about the gravy because here where i live we dont have those gravys. But the doctor told me once your child is 12months old they may eat anything we also,so gravy will be no problem then.

Thanks that's kind of what I was thinking, the only thing I am a bit unsure of is Bisto gravy, when we have a dinner I don't give Jack gravy I just give him veg, potatoes and some chewed up meat.
