So this is my second pregnancy, my first time I had a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks, I am now 5 weeks. I'm 20 years old, enrolled in college, and im taking a tap dance class. I'm afraid that that class may harm my baby since I already experience a miscarriage I'm trying to prevent it from happening again. Please I would really appreciate some advice!

Yea islts been a year and it still affects me. I'm guessing its because it all happened a week after I heard the baby heartbeat for the first time. I'm just trying to be careful I know worrying to much isn't good so I'm going to try to relax. Next fridaya is my first ultrasound I know its early but I want to make sure everything is fine. Thank you for responding I feel much better.

Sweetheart, miscarriages happen because there is something wrong with the baby, not that YOU did something wrong. Unless there is real trauma to the mother.
I know how you feel, I have been there. I lost my second baby to a miscarriage, it was one of the hardest things I had to go through. I sat and went over EVERY little thing I did that might have caused it. It has taken me a GREAT while to come to the realization that I DIDN"T do anything, it was just something that happen.
Today, I have a son that I carried FULL TERM after my miscarriage he is now 6. Although I still think about the baby that could have been, I would not give up the life I have with my son. If you feel tap dancing is something you should stop until your baby is born, then do it. You need to do what you can to give you peace of mind. Talk to your doctor see what he/she says, then decide what YOU should do. Just because you miscarried once doesn't mean it's going to happen again, but I know it's hard to get that thought out of your head.
