Scared to sleep alone

My 5 year old has never had a problem with sleeping. After watching a scary movie on the Disney channel she is now two afraid to sleep at night and keeps on coming into either our bed or her younger sister bed. Has anyone got any ideas on how to stop this.

A nightlight is good. Also, we will stay in her room after we put her to bed. Try somethin g soothing like rubbing her back that might help her get to sleep, so you only have to stay in their room a short while.

Put a night light in her room that stays on all night so that when she wakes she can see there is nothing to be scared of. Also buy a teddy that will be her night time only teddy. When she comes into your room take her back to bed and say night time bear is here you are ok.

What on earth did she view on the Disney Channel? Mind you my three year old was freaked out by Ducktales the other day. Very dark and gloomy cartoon.
