Where can I go in the State of Washington to enforce the school to get my 13 year old autistic grandson an in school one-on-one aide. The school is refusing. Some of the other students love to set him off when teachers aren't looking and then he gets loud and then he gets into trouble. Then the other kids stick together and say he has said things he hasn't said and then he gets in more trouble for that. He is getting so frustrated that he said he is tired of telling teachers when then don't believe him and all of this makes him escalate and he gets worse. The administrators always say that these kids don't lie. And I say my grandson is autistic and doesn't lie. My grandson seldom lies and when he does he is not good at it. These other kids are so much more sophisticated than he. Can anyone please advise me? Thanks.

Has his physician made a recommendation for an aide? Is he on an IEP or a 504 for his disability?
These things have to be in place before the school will be allowed to request a classroom aide for him.

I don't know what funding is like where you are but I know in Australia the schools have had their funding cut and most can't afford an aid for the students that need them.
See what the doctors can do to help you.

His therapist is investigating what she can do to help with this. Thank you for your reply, she might be able to help with this.
