Second baby stroller advice

My second is on the way. My first will be 17 mos when she arrives. I am looking at double strollers and getting totally hung up. None of them have big jogger tires -- a necessity for where I live AND take my car seat. Sooo. . . I am thinking how important is it to have the car seat option? What is your experience? I could just recline her side and lay her down completely. Love to have your thoughts and ideas. Thanks!

Although most side by sides are quite wide, I had one for my babies (slightly smaller age gap then yours) which was not much wider than some single strollers and I loved it. It was a Maclaren, though I'm not sure of the model. Both seats could be totally reclined and the seats were soft and cosy. I never missed having the car seat option.

i got this really neat double stroller (my kids were 11 months apart) I would opt for one that was not side by side (as those are hard to fit through door ways and such). Mine had one that reclined in the back
