Hello, I had a PA during labour in my first pregnancy at full term, I had minor bleeding from 26 weeks onwards which the hospital said was a cervical polyp and apart from that and back ache and what I thought were normal braxton hicks tightenings i never got any other symptoms. I'm now 24 weeks pregnant and have been having period pain like tightenings at random for the last couple of weeks but my check ups have all been fine and I thought they were normal. This morning I got a few tightenings at 5am and then since then had terrible back ache down my right side. I rang my midwife and she said she's not concerned about the back ache but the period pains aren't normal at this time of pregnancy and if I have them again I have to go to the hospital.
I am now worried because I have been having these period pains quite a lot and I'm just waiting for them to come back now. But they are just random not regular and frequent so what's the point in going to hospital? It was the back ache I was most concerned about.
Sorry if this doesn't make sense, any advice would be really appreciated xx
