Seeking for advice.

I am a mother of two and pregnant with my third one. I am currently taking two classes online at Valencia community college, working towards my AS in nursing. My first daughter goes to school every day, and the second one stays with me since I quit my job a week ago. I am now thinking on doing babysitting other children with my two years old, but don't know what to do, how can you guys give me some advice?

First figure out what do you want in babysitting. How many kids do you want to watch? When are you due with your third? How will having your third affect your babysitting? Are you wanting to continue to babysit after having your third? How much time will you take off......(speaking from experience you want to take enough time for you to adjust and bond, heal, and get your newborn to a spot that colds and other germs are not so dangerous). Usually that is 6 to 8 weeks at least. What age range of kids do you want to watch? What are you going to around to others doing the same thing you are to find out what going rate is in your area. Then it is getting the word out. You can advertise through your local churches, supermarkets, libraries, but I find that word of mouth is the best way. People are more apt to going to someone that was recommended to them by someone they know and trust. So spread the word to your friends, family, neighbors, church family. Find out who does babysitting or in home day care around you. This is a good support person and person you can hook up with to do things together, but it also gives you a network. If they know you more than just a name they are more likely to forward your info. when they are full.
